ENGAGEMENTS:

this also includes anniversary shoots, couples session, engagement sessions ~ starting at $450

 

-Starting time is 1.5 hours where we will adventure around your favorite beach, hiking trail, national park, or WHEREVER your heart desires!

-I help with styling outfits, picking the location, and organizing the entire shoot.

-Since no love story is the same, I will send you a questionnaire that helps me get an understanding of who you are and what your dreams are together as a couple. My hope is that you spend some time together filling it out so we can construct a beautiful session capturing your love:)

FAQ's Commonly Asked Questions

Do you help us out with outfits?

YES! Once you book a shoot, I will send you my style guide or help one on one with picking out what to wear. I also offer shoots that allow you to wear more than one outfit so if you really want casual pictures in jeans and fancy pictures wearing a dress, you can do both!

How will we receive our photographs?

I use an online website that sends you a gallery of your high-res images straight to your email. This link is only visible to you and whomever you decide to share the photos with. From the website you can download the photos or even order prints!

How would you describe your photo editing style?

I'm all about that real color, natural editing look. There are a lot of photographers that like to enhance the warm colors (which is a beautiful style) or edit very bright and airy (another nice look) but I'm much more into making the pictures look like you are standing right there. I also get a lot of inspiration from film photographs and my dream is to one day have my own darkroom so I can bring along my grandpa's film camera to shoot and mess around.

Can you send me the RAW images before you edit them?

No... After our shoot, I spend a decent amount of time finding the best shots, doing some color correction and bringing them to their final and unique product! To ask for the RAW photos would be like asking an artist to do half of a painting and then allowing you to finish it with their signature. I consider each photo a work of art, so hopefully that makes sense! :)

We are located out of town, do you charge travel fees?

Yes. I am located in Dana Point, CA. Since it requires time, effort and usually gas money to travel, I do add travel fees if it takes me longer than an hour to get there. Occasionally I will offer free or discounted fees if it's a place I really want to shoot at or if I'm already in town for another purpose during your dates. Each story is different so for an accurate quote, let's chat!

How long will it take for us to get our photos?

For an engagement or hour couples shoot, it will take about 2-4 weeks. For a wedding, it will take about 5-8 weeks. I know it may seem like a long time, so I try my best to send you some sneak peaks 24-48 hours after our time together so you can post something on instagram!

Do you pick our location for a shoot or can we pick it?

Either one! I have many beautiful local spots up my sleeve I can recommend or if you have a special place like where you met, where you went on your first date, or favorite hiking trail, I'm all for exploring new places! 

I am getting married at an indoor venue but I also really want photos of us at a different outdoor location, how can we do that?

EASY! Sometime after your wedding date, I offer what's called a "bridal shoot" for $400. This is an opportunity for you and your new husband/wife to put on those wedding clothes again and shoot at a different location than your venue! Want to have pictures in the woods, your new home, or favorite camping destination? You name it, let's do it. 

What happens if we need to cancel or reschedule?

I require a $500 non-refundable deposit for weddings and $50 for engagement or couple shoots. This means that your date is secured and I'm saying no other couples who want that date or time. If you need to reschedule, I will do my best to work with you, but I do have a reschedule fee of $100. In the unfortunate situation of bad weather on your date, I am here to help you out and will communicate with you on next steps but will not charge a re-scheduling fee if it's dumping rain!

How many photos will we get from our shoot?

I cannot guarantee a specific amount of photos but I aim for around 50-80 photos per hour. I take a ridiculous amount of photos when I'm with you and then sort through the best ones that absolutely will make your jaw drop!
